Wishful Working: Snail Mail Summer

Snail Mail Summer is a limited edition print newsletter from Wishful Working. For a flat rate, you’ll receive three themed pieces of snail mail, each containing:

  • A letter on the theme/topic

  • A post card/art print featuring original art

  • An original die-cut sticker

  • A sticker sheet

  • Other surprises

If you’ve been a Wishful Working email subscriber for a while, the overarching themes of Snail Mail Summer will sound familiar: slowing down, enjoying life, and challenging outdated ideas about work and productivity. Since it’s Snail Mail Summer, expect summer vibes. 😎

Each month (June, July, August) will have its own specific theme and set of stickers/goodies. The themes are a surprise 👀

Pricing

Snail Mail Summer is $29 USD for folks in the USA and Canada and $35 USD for folks everywhere else. This is a one-time, flat rate that includes all three dispatches — it is not a recurring subscription.

Shipping

Letters will be mailed from Wishful Working HQ in Saskatchewan, Canada, in June, July, and August. Because I’m using old school lettermail, there will be no tracking. FYI — mail from Canada can take 2+ weeks to arrive in the USA.

Sign-up deadline is June 1.

Why?

Short answer: For fun!

Long answer: I am so grateful that writing is my job, but B2B content writing doesn’t necessarily fulfill me creatively. I started Wishful Working as a creative outlet and a place to explore exciting, important topics related to productivity and the world of work. I’m really proud of what I’ve written over the past 2+ years, and the fact that people are reading it feels like a bonus.

But writing isn’t my only passion! Lately, I’ve been itching to lean into art, design, and crafting, and Wishful Working was right here, begging to be an outlet for that too. I was inspired by my friend Rachel’s snail mail newsletter, and then I started seeing other snail mail clubs and wanted to try it out!
